Early Childhood Professional Role:

The Educator position involves delivering high-quality early childhood education and care to children from 0-5 years. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to develop and enhance exceptional learning programs for our young students.

You are responsible for creating a secure and inclusive environment that fosters children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. This includes designing and implementing educational programs, observing and recording children's progress, and communicating with parents and other staff members effectively.

In this role, you have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in our community. You will be supported by our experienced Centre Director and Leadership Team to achieve your career goals and develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children within our centre
  • Observe and record children's progress and report to parents and other staff members
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members to ensure seamless transitions and partnerships
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check
