Key Role Summary

This pivotal role seeks an experienced leader to spearhead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of comprehensive learning and capability programs. The chosen individual will be responsible for implementing a thorough review of the agency's capability framework, aligning it with the functionality of the Learning Management System, and integrating it seamlessly with performance and development processes to drive strategic alignment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Maintain and implement the ACCC Capability Framework.
  • Develop and implement the SES and whole of agency Performance Framework.
  • Design and implement a skills taxonomy aligned to the ACCC's job family framework.
About You

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Proven experience leading a learning and development team or similar position in a fast-paced, large, complex people-centric organization.
  • Expertise in learning and capability strategy, design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Experience managing learning systems, mandatory training programs, and enterprise capability frameworks.
  • A strong understanding of performance frameworks and talent development models, including the 70:20:10 model and its operationalization in a hybrid learning environment.
