The Australian Broadcasting Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Digital Audio Producer to join its team in Sydney.

About the Role

As a Digital Audio Producer, you will be responsible for editing, producing, and outputting high-quality podcast and digital audio content for Audio News & Current Affairs. You will work collaboratively with journalists and content makers to develop engaging shows targeted at a digital audience.

In addition, you will assist radio program teams in creating appealing audio and digital content for their audiences.

About You

We are looking for a creative and experienced Digital Audio Producer with a strong understanding of digital media platforms. You should have excellent technical skills, including multi-track editing and mixing, as well as experience working with content management systems and social media platforms.

You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will have a demonstrated interest in finding and telling stories that reflect Australia's diversity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit, produce, and output high-quality podcast and digital audio content
  • Collaborate with journalists and content makers to develop engaging shows

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., broadcasting, communications)
  • Proven experience in digital audio production (minimum 3 years)
  • Excellent technical skills, including multi-track editing and mixing
  • Experience working with content management systems and social media platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
