About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Audio Producer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our audio content production team, you will be responsible for editing, producing, and outputting high-quality podcast and digital audio content for Audio News & Current Affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and produce engaging podcast and digital audio content
  • Collaborate with journalists and content makers to develop and produce dynamic shows
  • Work with radio program teams to create appealing audio and digital content for their audiences
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience in creating content in a digital media environment
  • Sound technical understanding of digital media platforms
  • Proven experience in technical production of audio, including strong editing skills and experience with multi-track editing and mixing

You should also have:

  • Excellent ability to use audience data insights to inform decision-making and improve content
  • Experience working with content management systems and social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • A demonstrated and ongoing interest and passion in finding and telling stories that reflect Australia's diversity

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a base salary of $92,000 to $99,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other entitlements. In addition, you will have access to a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, paid parental leave, and a comprehensive health and wellbeing program.
