Multicultural Content Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Casual Producer to join our Arabic language program. As part of our Audio and Language Content team, you will contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online by producing high-quality audio content. Prior experience in journalism or broadcasting is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities- Research, write, produce, translate, and present audio content (including news, current affairs, and community stories) on radio and/or online platforms.
- Be proficient in speaking and typing in Arabic as well as English, and comfortable participating in a language assessment task as part of our interview process.
- Demonstrated professional experience using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram would be an advantage.
This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. They should also possess a strong understanding of the Arabic-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities.
Work ArrangementsThis is a Casual position located in Sydney. The successful candidate will be required to undertake shift work, including presenting on-air programs early in the morning and could include weekends. Only residents based in Australia with working rights are eligible to apply.
BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We also offer a generous superannuation package, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
