Job Overview

This is a challenging full-time position within a public practice firm that delivers comprehensive tax, compliance, and advisory services to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and tax returns for multiple entities
  • Assist with BAS, IAS, and FBT lodgments and ensure timely submissions
  • Support senior staff in tax planning and advisory work, contributing to the growth and development of the business
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience across various industries and develop strong professional skills
  • Develop effective client communication and relationship skills, fostering strong partnerships with clients
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a public practice accounting firm, with a focus on tax compliance and advisory services
  • Currently undertaking or planning to start CA/CPA qualifications, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused attitude and ability to work collaboratively
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based software systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies
