We are seeking a commercially-driven financial leader to join the executive leadership team of a well-established and fast-growing project services organisation.
With a strong forward pipeline and a growth agenda, this role requires an individual with deep industry insight and the ability to lead the financial strategy of a complex, project-centric business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will drive financial performance, governance, commercial strategy and sustainable growth. They will play a hands-on leadership role across all aspects of finance while contributing at the highest level to the company's future direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance function across reporting, budgeting, compliance and audit
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasting, cash flow management and commercial reporting
  • Provide financial leadership on contract negotiation, project risk and capital expenditure
  • Manage financial strategy, funding models and relationships with external stakeholders
  • Oversee project WIP, margin analysis and cost controls to ensure profitability
  • Guide business systems development and financial process improvements
  • Play a key role in corporate development, including potential expansion initiatives
  • Embed strong financial governance, internal controls and compliance frameworks
About You
  • Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader within a project-based industry
  • CA/CPA qualified with sound knowledge of commercial and contract law, financial compliance and corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, WIP and revenue recognition in services or contracting environments
  • Commercially astute and strategic thinker with strong analytical capability
  • Highly collaborative leadership style and excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable leading in a growth phase with both strategic and operational demands
