Job Summary:

The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and reporting of learning and development initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset and excellent organizational skills to collaborate with stakeholders and drive our learning and development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

"
  • Coordinate school-based traineeships and apprenticeship programs.
  • Deliver company induction across multiple properties.
  • Assist in designing and implementing technical, functional, and soft skills training programs.
  • Update the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date training administration.
  • Assist in ensuring that L&D courses are compliant with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and external training companies to organize courses.
  • Monitor, book, and follow up on internal and external training for all team members.
  • Prepare training materials for training programs as required and ensure training rooms are set up and well-stocked.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 2 years of experience in training facilitation
  • 2 years of experience in learning design and development
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment essential
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate, and Canva is advantageous
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn LMS (preferably Docebo)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in HR systems for training data entry and reporting
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
