We are seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Therapist to lead our team in delivering engaging activities and promoting residents' well-being within our 103-bed Residential Aged Care Home.
As a trusted partner, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement lifestyle programs that enrich residents' lives. You will build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, contributing to a positive and supportive care environment.
About the Role- Lead a team of Lifestyle Therapists in delivering activities designed to promote residents' physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement lifestyle programs that align with organisational values: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship, and Safety.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
- Three years' experience in leisure and health program development and delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, building rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate or willing to obtain.
- Current Police Check or willing to obtain.
- Australian Work Rights - Currently valid.
- Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency.
