Job Title: Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store, contributing to all aspects of our commercial and home fitness equipment retail venture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales performance and ensure standards are met across all business operations of the store.
  • Manage customer experience, staff development, and maintenance of professional standards.
  • Support logistical processes and encourage innovation throughout all business functions.
  • Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing team with assistance from the NSW State Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage retail store upkeep, oversee inventory levels, and organize processes to maintain store assets and store functions.
  • Develop retail store strategies to raise store traffic, expand customer reach, and optimize profitability.
  • Maintain a high-level customer service culture through customer reviews and service results.
  • Lead and support your team to meet monthly site objectives and sales quotas.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensure accurate stock recording, and oversee financial and operational objectives.
  • Confidently manage customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Supervise, coach, and train site workforce, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Initiate and process branch transfers, maintaining efficient team communication.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Retail Manager or similar managerial position.
  • Excellent sales skills and sound knowledge of distribution and small warehouse management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, take ownership, initiative, and responsibility for assigned duties.
  • Proficient ability to use inventory and POS software and demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of Health and Fitness Equipment Products and Health and Fitness Industry.
