Enterprise Solution Design Lead

This role offers the opportunity to shape solution design across complex enterprise programs for a leading telecommunications provider.

You will collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and business leaders to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and future-ready.

About the Engagement
  • Craft end-to-end solution architecture spanning multiple IT domains.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, and regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing solutions using microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and container-based architectures. Hands-on exposure to public and private cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Craft end-to-end solution architecture.
  2. Translate business requirements into technical designs.
  3. Lead design reviews, set architectural goals, and manage dependencies.
  4. Champion modernisation initiatives including microservices, TMForum Open APIs, and cloud-native design.
  5. Provide mentoring and guidance to solution designers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years' large enterprise solution design and architecture experience.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications environments and large-scale IT systems.
  • Experience designing solutions using microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and container-based architectures.
  • Hands-on exposure to public and private cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT/Computer Science; architecture certification desirable.
