Key Roles

The position requires a highly skilled and strategic technical leader to design and implement innovative technology solutions that align with the Council's digital strategy. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership across project lifecycles, developing and maintaining system architecture blueprints, ensuring integration and interoperability, and evaluating and managing third-party solutions.

  • Lead IT solution design and implementation that meets business needs and digital strategy.
  • Provide technical expertise for feasibility assessments and vendor evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture roadmaps.
  • Ensure seamless integration and data exchange between systems.
  • Manage and assess third-party solutions and vendors.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement robust security measures.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Extensive experience in IT architecture, enterprise projects, and solution design.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, databases, and security principles.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, scalable IT solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Skills
  • TOGAF or Cloud Architect certification.
  • Previous public sector experience.
