Our ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance and academic excellence. They will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our academic support functions, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and driving innovation across multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Alignment: Oversee the development and implementation of academic support functions that are aligned with institutional objectives.
  • Academic Integrity & Accreditation: Develop and maintain frameworks for academic integrity and accreditation, including risk mitigation strategies for GenAI.
  • Workforce Planning: Inform data-driven workforce planning and scalable sessional teaching staff allocation models to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Capability Building: Design and implement capability-building programs for academic staff across multiple delivery teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Innovation & Efficiency: Drive systems and process innovation to embed efficiency, reduce risk, and improve overall performance.
  • Team Culture: Foster a high-performing, cross-functional team culture focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, and a commitment to excellence.
Success Metrics:
  • Robust Workflows: Establish robust, documented workflows and scalable systems that support quality, continuity, and compliance.
  • Academic Misconduct: Reduce academic misconduct through authentic assessment, proactive educative integrity strategies, and a focus on student success.
  • Workforce Optimization: Optimize workforce planning aligned with compliance, pedagogy, and commercial goals to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • L&D Programs: Develop modern, flexible L&D programs that support teaching staff readiness, partner alignment, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders and contribute to governance across academic and operational teams to drive shared understanding and decision-making.
Your Background:
  • Education: Hold postgraduate qualifications in education, quality assurance, or a related field to demonstrate expertise and credibility.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrate proven leadership in academic quality, integrity, or workforce planning, with a track record of driving change and achieving results.
  • Change Management: Showcase experience driving change and innovation across complex environments, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards to ensure effective management and oversight.
  • Commercial Acumen: Display strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and business savvy to drive growth, revenue, and profitability.
