Our team is looking for a skilled Meat Wrapping Specialist to join our ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for wrapping and packaging meat products with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive and courteous to customers.
- Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained on a daily basis.
- Operate the automatic wrapping machine to wrap packaged meat while following established safety procedures.
- Set up and operate the labeler to print and apply labels to products accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by putting wrapped and labeled meat on carts and stocking them in display cases.
- Monitor and control the fat content of each batch produced by the meat mincer and follow production procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
- Clean and sanitize areas throughout the day, maintaining health regulations and temperature standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and stocktakes as needed.
- Support front-end duties as required.
- Collaborate with other departments in the warehouse as necessary.
As a Meat Wrapping Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while developing your skills and expertise in meat wrapping and packaging.
