Job Title: Meat Preparation Specialist

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and baking a high volume of bakery products according to standard operating procedures.

  • Inspect and reassemble equipment sanitized the previous night
  • Rework display case to assess daily production needs and rotate product
  • Cut and trim meat to specification using band saw and knives
  • Operate tenderising machine, meat mincer, and follow safety and security procedures
  • Transfer cut and ground meat to trays, load onto large plastic tray, and transfer to large wheeled rack for wrappers
  • Assist with wrapping and stocking meat case according to plan for product presentation and merchandising
  • Clean and sanitise area throughout the day, including coolroom
  • Perform routine maintenance for machinery and equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Completed Apprenticeship/Trade School preferred
  • Butcher experience is required
