Strategic Operations Leader

The Chief Operating Officer will drive strategic and operational excellence, delivering high-quality forensic services to key stakeholders. This role focuses on supporting corporate objectives, ensuring alignment with priorities and targets.

You will provide expert advice, analysis, and guidance relevant to the discipline to the CEO, leading strategic planning, identifying opportunities and threats, and providing executive leadership through expert short- and long-term strategy development advice and coaching.

The successful person will have experience in an executive leadership capacity, with demonstrated expertise in leading and implementing change, improving performance, and culture at an organisational level. They will be able to develop, lead, and manage a large effective team of staff and model a values-based leadership style.

About our organisation: Our organisation operates specialised Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, and Forensic Operations functions that provide forensic services and expert advice to law enforcement agencies and the legal system.

  • Forensic Biology provides analytical and advisory services primarily to law enforcement in areas such as evidence examination, DNA analysis, and result interpretation.
