Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager will lead the implementation of a new compliance function in a diverse organization that bridges financial services and healthcare.
- Compliance Framework: Oversee the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks, policies, and systems to ensure effective compliance management.
- Regulatory Change Management: Lead the regulatory change function, driving the identification, assessment, and implementation of new requirements across the business.
- Monitoring & Assurance: Lead the monitoring and assurance activity to assess compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Reporting: Support the preparation of accurate, insightful compliance reports for management, executive, and board audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, law, or compliance (professional compliance accreditation highly regarded) or equivalent professional experience.
- Deep practical and technical expertise in compliance including obligation management, compliance plans, regulatory change.
- Knowledge of APRA and broader commercial regulatory environments.
- Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and with impact to senior stakeholders.
- Leadership attributes with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
