Corporate Communications Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Expert to join our team. As a key member of the Corporate Services team, you will play a critical role in communicating organisational objectives to internal and external audiences.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective communications strategies that enhance our organisational culture and drive business outcomes. This will involve working closely with other teams to deliver on customer service goals, both internally and externally.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide advice and guidance on communications best practice to colleagues at all levels across the organisation. You will also be responsible for managing communications schedules, prioritising work and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communications strategies that enhance organisational culture and drive business outcomes.
  • Communicate organisational objectives to internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with other teams to deliver on customer service goals, both internally and externally.
  • Provide advice and guidance on communications best practice to colleagues at all levels.
  • Manage communications schedules, prioritise work and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent skills and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communications skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience writing media releases, opinion pieces, media responses, speaker notes, social media and EDM content.
  • Project management skills with the ability to create and manage a communications schedule, prioritise work and deliver to deadlines.
  • Ability to use analytical and problem-solving skills to assess the impacts of changes and plan effective communications activities.
  • Experience measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of communication activities with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident to liaise with and influence customer-focused outcomes.
