Job Overview:

The Factory Maintenance Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Factory Maintenance Assistant.


As a Factory Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for providing technical support to tradespeople across various departments within the factory. Your expertise in operating hand and power tools, including welding equipment, will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our production environment.


You will also be required to operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed, ensuring that all heavy lifting and movement tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be vital in achieving our goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist trades in a large factory environment
  • Operate hand and power tools, including welding equipment
  • Use forklifts and overhead cranes as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Forklift License
  • Welding experience
  • Current Driver's License

Additional Requirements:

  • High level of reliability
  • Ability to work on call and weekends
