About the PositionWe require an experienced Underwriter to lead the underwriting of complex portfolios, leveraging expert judgement and digital tools to achieve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite and analyse renewal and new business opportunities within defined authority levels.
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
- Leverage data insights and digital tools to inform pricing decisions and risk assessments.
- Partner across Claims, Distribution, and other underwriting lines to support multi-line opportunities.
- 6+ years of experience in insurance, including underwriting and sales.
- Business degree or equivalent, with relevant professional certification.
- Proven track record in driving digital innovation or change management within underwriting.
- Strong understanding of underwriting systems, digital platforms, and data analytics.
- Skilled in risk assessment using traditional and digital methodologies.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with internal teams and external partners.
