**Job Overview**

We are seeking a senior insurance professional to join our Auto, Trades and Transport team as a key member responsible for the retention, growth, and profitability of key SME accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service.
  • Mentor and develop staff through clear communication and performance management.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses, risk management, and insurance needs to ensure services meet expectations.
  • Lead renewal and broking strategies, ensuring results meet client expectations.
  • Diversify business from existing portfolios.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing SME clients, with transport experience highly regarded.
  • Technical skills on General Insurance classes, including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine, and Accident & Health lines.
  • Prior experience managing small teams.
  • Strong working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners.
