As a healthcare administration leader, you will have the unique opportunity to join a leading women's healthcare practice and oversee your team in delivering exceptional administrative services and patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Streamline operational workflows and develop new procedures, protocols, and templates.

Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding, and develop and deliver role-based induction training programs.

Plan, publish, and coordinate changes to rosters and back-fill roles as required.

Oversee team administrative activities, provide support, and resolve issues, while coaching and developing the skills, knowledge, and abilities of team members.

Act as an administrative liaison for healthcare professionals and update settings and maintain administrative IT systems.

Provide administrative reporting and recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least three years' experience in supervisory positions within healthcare or related industries.
  • Experience streamlining workflows and developing procedures, checklists, and forms.
  • A sound understanding of healthcare protocols, practices, and terminology.
  • Excellent knowledge of patient experience principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of billing and claims processes, and item numbers.
  • A sound understanding of data protection legislation and medical records management.
  • Understanding of employment and workplace health and safety legislation.
  • Experience booking patients and rostering accordingly.
  • An excellent command of English language and grammar (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and relevant software.
  • Experience using electronic medical records systems.

Qualifications and due diligence requirements include:

  • Certificate IV (or higher level) in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Management.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Workplace Trainer Skill Set (advantage) or equivalent experience in training.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid Officer (+CPR) and Emergency Warden (or willing to train).
  • Pre-Employment Medical.
  • Permanent work rights to live and work in Australia.
