About the Role:
The Key Account Manager position is responsible for driving profitable growth and retention of key national accounts through strategic relationship management and delivery of exceptional service.
This critical role involves ensuring consistent execution of services to our clients across the GIO workers compensation offering, fostering strong partnerships with intermediaries and end-clients, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of key national employer accounts across jurisdictions, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs and drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with allocated key end-clients and associated intermediaries, leveraging industry expertise to identify opportunities and deliver value-added services.
- Analyze customer performance and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
- Support new business development initiatives in line with growth targets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement strategies aimed at growing participation on other lines through existing client relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Workers Compensation industry, with a proven track record of success in account management and relationship development.
- Strong customer service background, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient understanding of workers compensation claims and profitability, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Proven ability to achieve operational and strategic deliverables in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
