Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced operations specialist to support the efficient operation of Direct Connection Assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and innovation.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing position that requires coordination with various stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our assets throughout their lifecycle, from handover to maintenance and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the efficient operation of Direct Connection Assets
  • Provide technical, operational, and maintenance support to customers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless asset handover, commissioning, and maintenance
  • Respond to incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Contribute to asset optimisation initiatives to improve performance and efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in transmission, distribution, or large-scale energy infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of asset operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and regulatory compliance processes
  • Knowledge of substation and line construction
  • Exposure to business case development and operational performance tracking
  • Background in Power Systems Engineering or trade (Electrical or Mechanical)
