Forensic Psychologist Role

We are seeking a skilled Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Department of Justice and Community Safety - Corrections Victoria.

  • This is an opportunity to work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending.
  • The successful candidate will play a vital role in reducing reoffending and making the community safer.

To be successful in this challenging yet rewarding role, you will need to deliver comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, clinical interviews, and treatment interventions.

You will also be required to develop and implement individualised treatment plans, reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia is essential.
  • A current driver's license is also required.
