Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Security Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our airfield.

You will work closely with our security systems team to maintain and enhance our security software applications, including Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) and CCTV. This is a critical role that plays a key part in ensuring our airfield's safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining EACS and CCTV systems to ensure they operate efficiently
  • Monitoring system status, alarms, and uptime, with active intervention when issues arise
  • Managing service desk tickets and working closely with the Applications Support team during upgrades
  • Coordinating system design and integration for new projects
  • Managing vendor relationships to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met in line with service agreements
  • Configuring access permissions for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring hardware lifecycles and contributing to asset replacement planning
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with enterprise-level servers, security software, and field hardware
  • Hands-on knowledge of legacy and modern EACS and CCTV systems
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and aviation security principles
  • Practical experience with CCTV analytics integration
  • Ability to manage contractors and vendor SLAs effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to explain technical systems in simple terms
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work within complex project environments
