Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage clients in recreational activities and recovery related initiatives.
  • Provide safe transportation for program participants.
  • Maintain open communication with team members.
  • Develop and nurture professional relationships with residents.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents impacting resident safety and security, adhering to established site policies and procedures.

You will thrive in a dynamic environment, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the well-being of those in need.

Requirements:
  • A Certificate IV in Community Services or similar is highly desirable.
  • Lived experience of mental health and/or homelessness, providing valuable insight into recovery perspectives.
  • Experience in supporting individuals experiencing mental health and/or homelessness, including volunteer work.
  • Ability to co-facilitate groups and willingness to develop skills further.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and its significance.
  • A valid driver's license.
