Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled event planning professional to manage the permitting of externally produced events on Council-managed land. This role involves providing assessment, advice and approval for external event applications and some internal events.

This is a full-time temporary opportunity through until 30 January 2026, requiring weekend work and flexibility around hours. We offer a welcoming, healthy and inclusive workplace with opportunities for professional development and personal growth.

  • Assess and provide advice on the delivery and permitting of outdoor events.
  • Evaluate the risks and impacts of outdoor events.
Requirements
  • Able to self-manage workloads, communicate clearly and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in providing advice on event delivery and permitting.
  • Experience in risk assessment and management.
