About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Senior Ranger. In this role, you will work in an inspiring environment while actively participating in efforts to safeguard the beauty and heritage of the South East Queensland region.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for collaborating with a team of professionals to develop and implement innovative conservation strategies that make a lasting impact. This includes contributing to the protection of one of our most wonderful places.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Few formal qualifications in conservation and protected area management">
  • Team management, fire, pest, compliance and asset management skills and experience.">
  • Solid understanding of the legislation, policies and procedures governing Queensland parks and forests.">
  • Able to undertake a varied work program, including administrative work as well as various types of physical duties.">
  • Able to foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people, and actively engages through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.">
  • Firefighting Operations (Fire Crew) Level 1 certificate">
  • Senior First Aid certificate">
