You enjoy mentoring and motivating your team.Role and Responsibilities:Lead environmental projects and a team of up to 3 staffMaintain onsite plant and equipmentFollow Ausecology's Mobile Management SystemParticipate in HSEQ audits and contribute to improvementsProvide feedback for system enhancementsExecute fieldwork adhering to safety and quality standardsComplete required forms and participate in trainingSkills and Experience:ACDC LicenceMinimum 3 years in bush regeneration, land conservation, or similarAt least 1 year of team lead experienceExperience leading weed control projectsPlant identification skills (native and exotic)Current manual driver's licenseExperience with 4WD and trailersPhysical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, carrying up to 20kgHighly Regarded:Qualification in Conservation and Land/Ecosystem Management or similarEcological burn experienceFirst Aid & CPR certificationTool and engine maintenance skillsRemote area work experienceChainsaw operationBenefits:Competitive salary based on experienceTeam lead allowancesSuperannuationCompany vehicle within 1-hour commuteWork away from home allowancePaid skin checks and tools/PPEISO safety, quality, and environment accreditationEmployee referral bonusesSocial events including end-of-year and mid-year gatheringsLearn more about us: at or LinkedIn.
