The RoleThis position offers a unique opportunity to work as a Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker within our allied health team, supporting clients who face challenges related to unemployment. You will provide high-quality therapy and intervention to help individuals become 'job ready', promoting personal growth and development.
- You will support clients with various clinical presentations and psychosocial challenges, ensuring they receive tailored support and guidance.
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own calendar, meeting client expectations, and workload demands.
- Conducting mini-mental health training sessions on site for employment services staff is also an essential aspect of this role.
In addition, you will liaise with local health professionals and services as required, maintaining strong relationships with key referrers and customers. Your ability to identify and engage with potential new entrants to SLES will also play a vital role in expanding our services.
Your Qualifications and SkillsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- An approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work degree
- Full registration with the relevant professional body
- Determination and motivation for professional growth
- A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients
- High levels of verbal and written communication
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on driving strong client relationships
- A valid Australian Drivers Licence and access to your own vehicle

This role offers an estimated annual salary of $70,000 - $90,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this figure is based on industry standards and may vary according to location and other factors.
