Visual Arts Lecturer Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Visual Arts Lecturer to join our program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality educational services, including training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing teaching programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Establishing and maintaining a learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
  • Providing advice and guidance on specialist expertise to stakeholders.
  • Assisting team members with resource evaluation and development of learning materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a practicing multidisciplinary visual artist, with at least one solo exhibition and shared exhibitions in established galleries and/or ARIs.
  • Ability to write, present, and teach art history and theory at a tertiary level.
  • Experience in providing academic supervision at Honours level or above.
  • Degree in Visual Art & Design or equivalent qualifications.
