Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team.

This role will drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic alignment across our supply chain by developing and implementing a regional inventory strategy that aligns with our company's principles.

 

  • Develop and implement a regional inventory strategy that optimizes stock levels and performance.
  • Provide thought leadership and foster alignment with strategic, operational, financial, and customer-centric outcomes across state branches and centers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team, ensuring collaboration and the adoption of best-in-class processes and techniques.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in state inventory practices to enhance our competitive edge.
  • Monitor and report on inventory performance, including KPI tracking, turnover, stock accuracy, and cost management.
  • Champion safety by embedding a Zero Harm culture and ensuring compliance with WHSE standards.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum # years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building high-performing teams, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strategic thinking skills to formulate strategies that drive commercial value and supplier efficiency.
  • Regional expertise, familiarity with state-specific regulations, supplier networks, and logistics.
  • Lean principles knowledge, strong history of driving continuous improvement.
  • Analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis and warehouse management software for forecasting and trend identification.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
