Defence Support Coordinator

We are seeking an individual to provide support to Defence families and students during their integration into our school environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Defence lifestyle and be able to develop positive relationships with Defence students at our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the transition of Defence families and students into and out of the school during posting.
- Providing Defence students with age-appropriate, social and emotional support that enhances existing school supports.
- Raising awareness and building capacity among school staff to respond to the social and emotional needs of students from Defence families.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of the Defence lifestyle.
- The ability to develop positive relationships with Defence students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with Defence students and support them in adapting to new environments.
