Key Bid Manager Position Available

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bid manager to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality tender submissions. As a key member of the strategic bids and business development team, you will work closely with business leaders and technical staff to implement best-practice approaches and create client-centric submissions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the bid process, incorporating lessons learnt from previous bids as part of the strategy development, and working with the in-house design studio to bring the wow factor to our bid submissions. You will manage pursuit development and proposal submission processes ensuring alignment with the BD process, provide strategic advice into qualifying decisions to pursue/bid appropriate opportunities, facilitate strategy development write non-technical sections and manage technical financial inputs by engaging with key contributors across the business.

Additionally, you will workshop/storyboard content with tendering teams to guide the development of content that is client-focused compelling comprehensible and compliant with the client's requirements, advise and coach teams for presentations and interviews with clients, cool/mentor/educate staff in bidding practices and company BD processes.

To be successful in this role, you will require a degree qualified in business marketing communications or journalism or equivalent experience, a minimum of 7+ years' experience in winning work sales journalism or marketing, and experience in professional services is preferable. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong experience in pursuits and proposals, excellent writing and editing skills with an ability to influence and engage others, and membership of the Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) would be valued.
