Job Role

As a key team member of our waste management centre, you will play a vital role in delivering essential waste services to our community.

This is a hands-on outdoor position that involves operating and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment to ensure safe waste disposal and site maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will operate and maintain various types of heavy machinery, including loaders, water trucks, hooklift trucks, and landfill compactors.
  • You will be responsible for managing waste disposal, which includes municipal, construction, and industrial waste, as well as contaminated waste.
  • You will implement and monitor pollution control measures, site rehabilitation works, and site safety protocols.
Key Requirements:
  • A current Class HR Driver's Licence is mandatory.
  • A General Construction Induction Training Card is also required.
  • National Certificates of Competency - Forklift (LF) are highly desirable.
  • You must have substantial experience relevant to the role.
  • Excellent teamwork and independent work skills are essential.
