Program Leadership Role

This position is responsible for leading the educational leadership team in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Education.

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve targets related to student achievement and associated priorities.
  • Lead the teaching and learning program for gifted and talented students in alignment with the Western Australian Curriculum general capabilities.
  • Manage staff performance and development according to Public Sector Performance Management Standard and Departmental policy.

The role involves working closely with the Assistant Director of Education to provide educational leadership to the team. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategic plan, leading the teaching and learning program, and managing staff performance.

Key Requirements
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number.
  • Hold a recognised qualification in teaching and be currently registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia.
  • Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
