We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals living with a disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans that promote skills development, independence, and quality of life for people with disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct functional behaviour analysis and develop strategies to address challenging behaviours.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Developmental Education, Psychology, Social Work or equivalent degree.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Australian Driver's License.
  • Child Safe Environments Through Your Eyes or Responding to Abuse and Neglect training.
  • NDIS Quality, Safety and You Orientation Module completion.
  • Health Support Training.
  • Understanding of regulated restrictive practice.
  • Membership of DEAI (Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated) or an allied health professional body/association.
  • Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission as a Behavioural Support Practitioner.
