We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of disability mentors.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with vulnerable people and be committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role
  • This role involves providing support and guidance to individuals with various types of disabilities, promoting independence and enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively with individuals having various types of disabilities.
  • Achieve goals and improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Valid Car License: A valid car license is required for this role.
  • NDIS Orientation Module Completion: Completion of the NDIS orientation module is mandatory.
  • Current NDIS Clearance or Police Clearance (within 12 months): A current NDIS clearance or police clearance within 12 months is required.
  • Working With Children's Clearance: Working with children's clearance is also necessary.
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: Covid-19 vaccination including two doses and a booster is required.
  • Safe Food Handling Certification: Safe food handling certification is necessary.
  • Manual Handling Training: Manual handling training is also required.
  • Medication Administration Awareness: Medication administration awareness is necessary.
  • Covid-19 Training: Covid-19 training is also required.
  • Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support: A Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support is essential.
  • Excellent English Language Skills: Excellent English language skills are required.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification: First aid and CPR certification is necessary.
  • Influenza Vaccine (preferred but not essential): Influenza vaccine is preferred but not essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to commit to flexible hours, including after-hours shifts. Interviews may be conducted via Zoom at a mutually convenient time.
