Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to lead project delivery and drive completion of work in accordance with time, cost, safety, and environmental objectives. Key responsibilities include managing site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects, defining and fulfilling UGL obligations for construction, and reviewing and arranging approval designs as construction.

About the Role
  • Manage pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives.
  • Successfully lead the project delivery process and drive completion of work in accordance with TAO requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Define and fulfil UGL obligations for construction in line with UGL procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practice.
  2. TAO requirements and quality.
  3. Review and arrange the approval designs as construction.
  4. Accountable for all construction management to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
  5. Accountable for creation, updating and adherence to the project programme.
  6. Liaise with Project Planner to ensure adequate track possession by methods of long-term application or As Trains Permit bid sheets.
  7. Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
  8. Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
  • Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
  • Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License.
  • 8-15 years' post graduate experience with 8+ years site based.
  • Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
