Job Title: Healthcare Frontline Assistant

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an organized and empathetic individual to join our team as a Healthcare Frontline Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
  • Book appointments, update patient information, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with doctors and nurses to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Support administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other ad-hoc duties
  • Process consultation payments and Medicare rebates accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information at all times

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively
  • Fast learner, competent in using Microsoft Office, and willing to develop new skills
  • Experience in using Best Practice patient management systems or equivalent is highly desirable
