About the Role
  • This is an opportunity for an experienced Principal Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams in designing and delivering complex electrical power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and delivering EHV substation projects, including Extra High Voltage Substations – Primary Systems (up to 500kV)
  • Preparing full scope of work for new builds and existing substation extensions, synchronous condensers, and battery installations
  • Maintaining client relationships and collaborating with clients, internal, and external stakeholders
  • Participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and quality control processes to guarantee design excellence
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering
  • CPEng and/or RPEQ certification
  • Extensive experience in HV and EHV substation design
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
