As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of electrical engineering in the design, construction, and operation of PV power plants. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including transmission and distribution, substations, and equipment sizing.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in substations design industry. Fluency in English is a must, and international working experience or projects globally are highly valued.

The successful candidate will be able to prioritize workload, work autonomously, and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a forward-thinking attitude are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Technical design tender reports (HV/LV up to 500kV)
  • Preparation of HV Substation primary equipment design deliverables, feasibility studies, reports, programs, and cost estimating
  • Working knowledge of Transmission and distribution system including equipment sizing, protect system
  • Review the HV plant aspects of different projects including HV layouts, earthing design and reports, mechanical interlocking, HV busbar calculations, and technical specification for the HV plant equipment
Requirements:
  • Degree or master's degree in electrical / power engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in substations design industry
  • Fluent English spoken and written
  • International working experience or projects globally
  • Strong interest in renewable energy
  • Proactive and able to prioritize workload
  • Able to work autonomously and adapt in a fast-paced environment
