Job Opportunity

The Power Quality division provides power management solutions including AC/DC uninterruptable power supplies, surge protective devices, power distribution units, remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, and services.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and projects. The successful candidate will report directly to the National Engineering Manager, ensuring that all electrical engineering activities align with industry standards and company objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems.
  • Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Ensure all electrical systems and projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Identify and resolve complex electrical engineering issues, utilizing advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, project reports, and maintenance manuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and external contractors, to achieve project goals.
Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering is required, along with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, as well as experience with power distribution and control systems, is essential.

Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field are necessary.

Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, NSol, and PLC, is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills, are also essential.
