Culturally Responsive Health Promoter

The Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Health Promotion Officer plays a pivotal role in driving the development delivery and evaluation of health promotion initiatives that foster positive change.
This position supports the creation of culturally responsive resources and education sessions focused on promoting healthy relationships consent positive parenting and addressing the drivers of FDSV.
It also facilitates delivering messages that encourage community-led healing recovery and growth ensuring all content reflects cultural needs values and aspirations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a therapeutic team to deliver tailored and culturally sensitive health promotion education and community engagement initiatives.
- Assist with planning implementing and evaluating community events in remote communities.
- Develop distribute and maintain health promotion resources including lesson plans animations print materials videos and social media content that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Participate in regular meetings training supervision contributing insights from the work to support integrated service delivery and organisational learning.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in health promotion community engagement or a related field and enjoy working in dynamic remote environments.
