Job Title: Support Coordinator

Selectability seeks a passionate Specialist Support Coordinator to assist recipients with mental health conditions navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and interpret their individual packages.

This role involves working collaboratively with recipients, stakeholders, and other service providers to design, plan, implement, and review recovery plans for those with psychosocial disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empower recipients to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Provide time-limited support on complex matters.
  • Offer specialist support coordination for complex recipients.
  • Identify a broad network of supports with recipients, families, and carers.
  • Manage complex matters such as restrictive practices, secure units, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare specialist progress reports.
  • Coordinate various services to support recipients in living fulfilling and meaningful lives within the community.
  • Engage with and manage key stakeholders to ensure effective support delivery.

Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Disability, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Maintain membership to a relevant professional body.
  • Some travel to selectability sites may be required.
  • Current nationally recognized first aid and CPR certificates.
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion certificate.
  • A current minimum P1 'C' class Queensland drivers license.
  • A roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
About the Offer:

This is a casual position based in Townsville.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of $63.75 + super, up to $15,900 FBT salary packaging benefits, and more.
