Data Center IT Support Engineer Specialist

Job DescriptionYou'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles at AWS Infrastructure Services.
As a senior resolver for your support team, you will troubleshoot and solve complex infrastructure issues, creating and maintaining documentation on the technologies you support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining high system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently
- Sharing knowledge and educating less technical staff on best practices in Data Center Operations
- Being a technical escalation point for other team members
- Participating in and delivering on high-impact projects
- Contributing to operational efficiency
Additional requirements include:
- Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely
- 24/7 shift coverage, including 12-hour rotating shifts, which may change based on business needs
- Possessing a valid driver's license and having your own vehicle due to the location of our sites

Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of server hardware management, network management, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches, Routers
- Experience with storage subsystems
- Linux administration knowledge and experience
- Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field with applicable certifications or equivalent professional or military experience
- Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment)
- Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications
The estimated salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
