The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. They will work closely with diverse teams, including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
We offer a highly competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, mentorship opportunities, and a chance to work on exciting projects that make a real difference.
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, with 6+ cumulative years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, maintain high quality standards, and have direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
Key responsibilities include working with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers, acting as resident engineer during new colo construction projects, troubleshooting, conducting Root Cause Analysis, and creating Corrective Action documentation. Additionally, they will provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades, directly support operational issues, and interface with operating partners, data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners.
