As a Program Financial Specialist at Leidos Australia, you will be part of our Finance Operations team. You will provide expert financial advice and reporting services to support program budgets.
Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled Program Financial Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have:
- Expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and budgeting.
- Strong working knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with cost allocation, cost control systems, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will work closely with our business teams to provide sound financial advice and support effective decision-making. Your expertise will help us achieve our organizational goals and objectives.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, economics).
- Demonstrable finance experience (2-4 years) from a project-based, complex business environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to understand financial concepts, identify issues, and develop relationships to achieve company objectives.
Australia-based candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA)
