We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Governance Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical integrity across global defence and aerospace projects. Your primary focus will be on developing, scheduling, and recording governance and assurance activities to ensure that our engineering processes meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will plan and schedule Global Engineering and Technical Governance and Assurance (TG&A) activities
  • Manage assurance of the Independent Technical Authority (ITA) Framework and Global Engineering Framework (GEF)
  • Alert Engineering Integrity team members to changes in TG&A activity scheduling
  • Lead development, scheduling, and record-keeping of TG&A training programmes

Requirements:

  • You must have an extensive background in engineering management of technical activities
  • A strong understanding of engineering's role across business functions and sectors is essential
  • You should have knowledge of multiple lifecycle types, including product development and repair/overhaul

Qualifications:

  • A Chartered or Professional Engineer status with a recognised professional body is required, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of joining
  • Achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) / security clearance for this role
